With more than 20 years’ experience in journalism, content strategy, and communications, Bede has spent his career helping people and organisations tell better stories. He started out as a reporter pounding the streets of Dorchester in search of a splash and worked his way up to become editor of seven regional titles.
In that role, he led teams through digital transformation, strengthened links with local communities and built a network of media contacts across the country.
Since moving into strategic communications, Bede has worked with universities, global brands, start-ups, and tech pioneers, helping them explain their ideas in ways that people can easily grasp and relate to. He has advised senior leaders on messaging and media and overseen campaigns known for both creativity and impact.
Bede combines a journalist’s instinct for what makes a great headline with a strategist’s focus on communication that gets results. Most of all, he enjoys bouncing ideas around with interesting people, tackling tricky problems, and finding the right words at the right time to make things happen.
