Katherine worked as a journalist for the BBC for 25 years, before joining the team at Denford. She started her career in BBC local radio as a broadcast reporter, before joining the team at the BBC’s national news website and specialising in education news.
She has extensive experience researching and writing articles for the BBC’s Family and Education pages.
In her work with the BBC’s Young Reporter team, Katherine visited many schools offering media advice to staff and workshops to students.
She has an eye for what makes a good story, strong writing skills and knows how to channel stories to media outlets.
